Curriculum

Foundation Stage Curriculum

Children in the Foundation Stage follow schemes of work and activities based around the Foundation Stage Curriculum. The Foundation Stage itself is split into 6 areas of learning. Children are immersed in a language rich environment where they have the opportunity to develop particular skills, such as their imagination through role play, art and drama, their investigative skills through exploring, questioning and experimenting and their social skills through sharing, speaking and listening and playing. The children learn through experiencing a mixture of multi-sensory child initiated and teacher led activities.
